Sparrow Needy
The opening of this essay starts with a specific topic about violence. For example, kidnappings and murders. The author describes his neighborhood Harlem, but most importantly, he describes his brother and his childhood. Paul was an ordinary boy with talents and a friendly boy.I think that the most dramatic part of the introduction is when the author tells us about his brother's experience. When Paul was eight years, he saw a murder in front of his house. We notice from the beginning that this chapter is going to be about his brother. In the conclusion, the author end up talking about how his brother passed away. I like when he mentioned that he dedicated his last poem to his brother twenty-six years ago.
