My thoughts about the introduction for "Speedy Narrow" is that the author was giving us background information about how life was in Harlem for him and his brother and everyone else. He was also setting the tone for the rest of the story. The tone was suspenseful and how life was for them. 

My thoughts on the conclusion is that I liked how he told us where in life he is now. I also liked how vulnerable he was when he was talking about Paul. Paul talking about the time when he went to a club, probably talking about the time he saw the murder when he was eight. The last poem he published was twenty six years ago talking about Paul.
