group critique

            To be honest i didn't know what to expect from the group critique we had to do. it turned out       to be extremely helpful to me in the writing process. together with professor Talbird's notes i made          major expansions and revisions to the first draft. the peer responses were also a big help since i
   was able to determine what "potential readers" found entertaining or confusing. I'm really                 beginning to appreciate professor Talbird's teach style. in the short time we've been here in the semester i feel like I'm already improving as a writer.
