The passage we read in class today was very suspenseful for my opinion. Throughout the passage we see a structure which creates suspense and anticipation. The passage mainly refers to  Karen's ex husband who is an alcoholic murder. while reading the passage i personally had a dark image in mind, which expressed how frightened Karen is about her life due to her ex husband. Karen's ex husband as explained in the passage kidnapped there two children and killed a so called rapist just so she can end her relationship with her new husband. The ex husband basically thinks of himself as an hero, while on the other side his wife views him as an drunk crazy person. As i read the passage i viewed Karen as a victim who is being taunted, just because she left a certain person she did not want in her life.  Now living in fear, Karen worries about herself and her two children!
