I think this passage is really interesting because she mentioned how her husband changed after getting married. I like the phrase when he said "Never judge a book by its cover" sometimes we judge books just by looking at the cover  without even read the introduction and we said  oh that book must be boring, but if we really try to discover a little bit more on the contents we might change our perspective about the book. The author shows that the same thing happens in the personality of people. The author also explains her fear of her husband when he tells his story of how he killed a rapist. I think  he was narrating his story to create fear in her, but she wanted to run after that. His husband did not show regretful, he thinks that the rapist deserved it.
